Saint Patrick’s Day Celebrations in Miami Beach

Saint Patrick’s Day Miami Beach 2014

This weekend, everyone is Irish!  Saint Patrick’s Day isn’t until Monday, March 17, but with a holiday America has centered around fun times, green beer, yummy food, and sing-a-long music and dancing, it’s sure to attract some celebrating the weekend prior as well as the holiday itself.

What to do in Miami Beach for Saint Patrick's Day

Miami has tons to choose from for St. Paddy’s celebrating, so you will need to narrow down your choices.  Although there are a ton of activities and parties all over Brickell, Coral Gables and Tobacco Road, don’t rule out South Beach for having some of the best times for Irish Cheer this weekend and on Monday.

Here are some places around Miami Beach that are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with events, specials, music, and of course plenty of fun.

Playwright Irish Pub

Here it’s always Irish, so even though their main St. Patrick’s Day Celebration is on Monday, there will be the traditional Irish fare on menu, Irish whiskey and beers to pour, and the atmosphere will make you think you could be in a pub in Ireland.  Try a night out for dinner Saturday, for a loud but laid-back time.

On Monday, stop by Playwright for an Irish coffee to start off your day, as they open nice and early.  Fill yourself up with a traditional Irish breakfast.  Of course they will have all the favorite Irish food like corned beef and cabbage and shepherd’s pie, and plenty of green pints to wash it all down with.  A classic rock band will hit their stage later to keep the celebrating going into the night.

Radio Bar

This eclectic, cozy bar is gearing up for St. Paddy’s celebrations all weekend long.  They will be having drink specials Saturday, Sunday, and Monday as well as a fun St. Patrick’s day contest.  Here you can get an Irish Car Bomb or shot of Jameson for $5.  Or try one of their tasty, unique cocktails on special too.

Monty’s Sunset

Monty’s Sunset is a casual restaurant right on the water even with their own pool.  Even if you drive or walk, you’ll feel like you just got off a boat.  Typically known for their seafood, Monty’s is feeling Irish with St. Patrick’s Day specials.  They are offering a delicious corned beef and cabbage meal served with a tall, refreshing Guinness for $19.95.  Another special for the holiday is $5 pickle backs.
