Open for dinner in June on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 6-10, Friday & Saturday, 6-11. Belly up to the bar as early as 5 p.m. in your clean and casual attire that does not include beachwear.
Don’t leave Miami without dropping in on Churchill’s Pub in Little Haiti. Get there before 9 p.m. and enjoy $2.50 well drinks and pitchers of Bud, Bud Light and American Ale for only six bucks, plus other specials. This hidden gem at 5501 NE 2nd Avenue has live music many nights in June. If you’re a fan of jazz you won’t want to miss The Miami Jazz Jam & The Theater de Underground on June 16th and 23rd ,2014. Strictly an alluring grunge atmosphere.
Step it up a notch with a visit to the Meat Market at 915 Lincoln Road in South Beach, which is just a short walk from Chic Place at Lincoln Boutique Hotel. Sip on some of the most exotic cocktails in South Beach. Happy hour is on Fridays from 5 to 8pm, when you can enjoy select premium cocktails for $7. Tempt your taste buds with this sexy twist on a traditional steakhouse restaurant. Reservations recommended.
Sizzle up the dance floor while you learn the Argentine Tango at the Tango Times Dance Company in North Miami Beach. This is perfect for soaking up that Miami flare, moving your body, and having fun! Classes are Thursday nights from 8 to 11pm. Call ahead to reserve your spot.
Laugh Out Loud
Try your luck at Magic Jack Casino. After you’re finished winning a small fortune at poker, slots or racing, laugh all the way to the bank while you enjoy the live comedic entertainment trio of Rob Base, Debbie Deb and Lisette Melendez, starting at 7:30 on June 13th. Reserve your tickets over the phone for convenience. Your admission price includes a drink and dessert samples.
Get Dolled Up
Speaking of the Kardashians, you can get dolled up at the famous Dash Miami store at 668 Collins Avenue in South Beach. Bring your camera and your credit card. You’ll need both in case you run into one of the well-known owners. You know who we mean.
Spend a day at the Miami Seaquarium at 4400 Rickenbacker Causeway. Plan a dolphin encounter that is appropriate for adults and responsible children between the ages of 5-9. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
